Mpho Ludidi Pays Respect to South African Women with His Single Release, Izibongo (Praises)


Lyckeby, Karlskrona, Sweden — August 4, 2017 — In the month of August, a Women’s Month in South Africa; The South African Afro-Soul singer, Mpho Ludidi will release his single titled, Izibongo (Praises). Delivered in the Afro-Jazz style. With the charm of his language, isiZulu, he praises the women of South Africa who daily mother the nation through their wisdom and love in every aspect of life; remembering the ones who fought for freedom against colonization and apartheid.

Having been raised by a single mother, Mpho Ludidi has found a deep place in the heart of women and now with this Afro-jazz single, to be released in the month of August on most digital stores, he intends to touch many South African woman spread all around the world to remind them of their value and strength.

The Iranian poet, Fakhri Barzandeh after hearing Mpho Ludidi for the first time wrote a poem saying, “With your voice, I reflect back to African deserts. I see hundreds of zebras as they run with dust hovering the air and African women dressed in floral dresses, breast feeding all the world’s children with their big breasts”.

Izibongo is a single release that is dedicated to the women of South Africa and will be released on the South African Women’s months in August and will be available on most digital outlets including iTunes and Amazon.

Mpho Ludidi’s music reflects the Xhosa and Zulu folk music with extracts from Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Soul music. Taking influence from the likes of Richard Bona, Shaluza Max and Lizz Wright.
