The Ray Coats Band Has New Music In Store for 2016

Northern California’s Hard Working Bunch

Stockton, CA – March 25, 2016 – Those who grow up singing in the church are blessed from the start in the vocal department, and Ray Coats is no different. He was in the choir by 12-years-old and his talent and career only grew from there. Come 2012 The Ray Coats Band was formed and today they’re working on new music together, while keeping busy playing more often than not around their hometown.

Since their inception The Ray Coats Band has been played across the board on Touchtunes and on the airwaves of KPOO as well as KLJN. On top of that they’ve appeared on stages big and small including: Monty’s Lounge in Rancho Cordova, Mile Wine Company in Stockton, Whirlow’s Tossed & Grilled in Stockton, Lodi’s Thursday Night Farmer’s Market and many more.

With a past in the choir, Ray and the rest of the band that includes, Ronald Matthews, Armann Robb, Calvin Peters, Kenneth Bolds and Kelly “Stixz” Purdy, have made their way through the Northern part of California by giving their fans a heavy dose of Adult Contemporary with an Urban feel that fuses in a dash of R&B and a lot of soul. With that in mind, the band is currently working on new music, written by Ray Coats himself.
